Welcome to Other People's Day™️

The 27th is Emily's birthday, but the 28th is your day! Join for a choose-your-own adventure day inspired by memories formed with all of you.

On Resort Free Activities

  • Pickleball Tournament:
    • Get overly competitive and watch me lose in a pickleball tournament. All you Volo stars who missed your chance at the boot, this one's for you.

  • Water Volleyball:
    • Bring back the days of intramural FoSheezy volleyball (costumes and face paint optional).
  • Avocado Boat:
    • If a lazy river or pancakes for the table are more your speed, float in the pool while having snacks delivered by boat.

  • SpikeBuoy:
    • Bring back the 83 Newton St backyard SpikeBall. Bonus points for anyone chanting "Loose Net Luke" with Pat.

  • Fitness Class:
    • Maybe your idea of a weekend trip is an ultra marathon or maybe you're about to hike the Appalachian trail. Either way, this can scratch the itch.

  • Poolside Guillotine:
    • Whether you're a piss boy or an innocent victim, the french revolution is fun for all.

On Resort Activities at an Extra Cost

  • Mixology Class:
    • Learn a lesson that should've been learned before Homecoming 2012: Exactly how much salt should line the rim of a strawberry margarita (and not be mixed into the drink).

  • Cooking Class:
    • Spend some time with the Margaritaville chefs to see if you'd be able to beat Mike or Yaniv in an episode of Chopped.

  • Brewery Tour:
    • Learn if the Riviera Maya Landshark is better than the Harpoon or Sam Adam's brewery (no 5k required).

  • Spa Visit:
    • Perhaps you'd like a luxurious experience, don't love the sun and ocean, or have gotten into cold plunges.

Off Resort Activities at an Extra Cost

I'd recommend only choosing one off-resort activity (if you choose any). All of these were selected as they will only take a few hours and you'll be able to join in on other activities upon your return.

  • Golf:
    • If those super cute golf shoes in the mud room are asking to see Mexico or your suburban Saturdays are spent at the driving range, this might be an activity for you. Visit El Tinto for a round in paradise.

  • Tulum Ruins:
    • Is there a photo of you that looks like you're dressed as Christopher Columbus? Do people think you might be a history major? Visit the nearby Coastal Castillo to learn about the Mayans.

  • Cenotes:
    • Miss the thrill of the Adventure Boogies? Did you spend an entire open air jeep ride screaming as though you were dying? A visit to Mexico's underwater caves may be the adventure for you.
